Good Cardio?

Post by Cnick946 »

Is footbag good cardio? I know it's not all I should do, but I'm wondering how good of cardio it can be.

If you're practicing by yourself it can be. In a circle I find there is generally more standing than playing and therefore I don't think it quite cuts it for 'cardio'.

I think it's good cardio. Once you're at a certain level where you don't need to worry about landing foundation tricks like clippers and mirage, strings develop and become longer with more physical-intensive movements.

I also cross train into running, biking and swimming and per session, I sweat more and feel a higher level of stress and energy are needed through footbag sessions.

Footbag is a part of my cardio in my exercise regimen.
