Shoe Modification Effects on Sports
Hey modified, been footbagging for a month or so and I'm planning to get some new shoes to footbag in instead of my current skater shoes and I was wondering if you modify some Rod Lavers or Climacools 1's would you still be able to use them for tennis or running in general? Thanks.

To answer your question, the mods that you do, unless you over modify, should not affect the shoe to the point of only being able to use it for footbag. I've had clima's that I fully modded and I still ran in them, and wore them as a casual shoe. Though I did have to explain why my shoes were like that.

footbag, running, and tennis all make different wear patterns upon your shoes.
For instance, the lateral motion in footbag compresses the "outside" side of the Climacool soles more than the "inside" side, which makes you more prone to ankle rolling and subsequent injury if you run in them (or play footbag in them; don't buy climas).
So, get footbag shoes for footbag (only $30 - $45 or so) and get some proper shoes for running or tennis.
