a little background info:
this took place just past friday. the event was some local award ceremony for all athletes from the Berlin district of Neukoelln who won national or international titles over the past year. pretty square event, but funny nevertheless.

fc footstar was asked to do a demonstration of footbag sports there, and so did we. net was presented in a short, direct scoring match up to 7 by flo goetze, yassin khateeb, thomas foerster (all frankfurt) and ulrich haase (berlin). jakob wagner and alex michelewski did the freestyle demo. all of them had to fight with a pretty slippery floor.

even though you can't really tell from the video, the footbag part was one of the best received shows this night, definitely being a highlight next to all the celtic dancing, disc dogging (ever heard of that?), cheerleading or latin dancing.

we had a short shred session afterwards in the warm up room. um yeah. alex and jakob pretty much tore it up, i'm just getting back into the game (if at all), having played four times this year already.
