do lavers run true to size? larger? smaller?

Just my two pence, but Id say buy smaller.
I wear size 10, and i bought size 10 leather lavers. They were a good fit, but by the time id opened the toe box, removed the thick insole and replaced it, and de-surfaced the toe and insides/outsides, i now find them a slightly loose fit. The same was true with a pair of size 9s I tried. They were toe-crunchingly snug at first, post modding they were still a bit too snug for me but there was more space. As a UK size 10, the next pair i buy will hopefully be a UK 9.5. Theoretically, they'll fit me like a glove.
Whether this will apply to post-modded mesh lavers I dont know.
Safest bet would perhaps to be to go to your nearest shoe shop, find a pair of Adidas shoes, preferably with a similar sole and shape to the laver (like the Stan Smith range) and try them on. Shoe sizing can vary between manufacturers, but i would expect Adidas' interpretation of a size 10 would be standard across their ranges.
