Hello everyone!
This is really important for those who are competing in footbag freestyle routines in singles or doubles
We need you to do 2 things as soon as possible for us to make things more simple at the event
#1: To help us out with special requests and players announcement, fill in this form:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewfor ... blZfY1E6MQ
For Doubles team, please only fill 1 sheet per team per category. Have both names in the same sheet.
*Please note there will be no time call for your music. Players must know their music and/or stop after we fade out the music if they go over their time call.
#2: Send us your music in MP3 format by following these steps:
For this year's worlds, we would like everyone to send their music in MP3 or WAV format in advance so we can save some time on the event site.
It would make things very easy for us if you can follow these following steps:
- Find and choose your song
- If your song is not in MP3 or WAV format, please encode it to MP3 if possible.
- Rename your song as follow: "Firstname_Lastname_roundX.mp3" (X being 1 for quarterfinals, 2 for semis, and 3 for finals)
So an example of this would be : John_Doe_round1.mp3 (for quarterfinals)
- You must edit your song in advance, there will be no start time. Please prepare your song in order to have a few seconds after we press play.
- Send all this to this email adress: [email protected]
If you don't send your songs for all rounds in advance, you will be required to have them at check-in on Saturday/Sunday check-in times, or by 11am on Monday morning in the worst case. Players who do not submit their music by the final check-in on Monday will be scratched, so it's better if you send your music now if you can!
If you bring your music at check-in, please make sure to have it on a CD or USB stick in WAV or MP3 format and pre-edited as described in this email. Bringing your music on an mp3 player does not guarantee that we can copy it (IE:Ipods do not allow copying off them)
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reply to this email
Thanks

Just to chime in, but if you need to encode your track to mp3, use the following link for the best and totally free mp3 encoder: http://winlame.sourceforge.net/
Note: I recommend encoding your song as 320kbs for maximum quality, so you can get a higher artistic score for your routine.

If we plan on using the same song for all three rounds, is there a way we should note this? Like, Ken_Somolinos_allrounds.mp3 or something?acxel22 wrote: - Rename your song as follow: "Firstname_Lastname_roundX.mp3" (X being 1 for quarterfinals, 2 for semis, and 3 for finals)
