Just wanted to thank everybody for the kind words.
As I mentioned in my footblog, I had a lot of problems with Premiere with this project, which wasn't helped by the fact I was working on deadline. Even though all the clips were shot in HD, I wasn't able to export it in HD, which was disappointing. Other problems with Premiere led to the "fight club" frames, and also prevented me from putting in a couple clips. Maybe later I'll upload the original clips to YT and post them here, so you can see each Beast in better quality, and in some cases see the runs that followed.
Despite these disappointments, I'm overall pleased with how the video turned out. Hitting a beast is hard enough as is, but adding the challenge of filming yourself with a tripod and getting it in frame made it even harder. I feel proud and lucky I was able to get so many on tape for this project. The editing is minimal, but the song works pretty well with the images, so I was happy with that. And while it isn't HD, it's actually not bad visual quality especially for a YouTube video.
That actually made me laugh out loud...nice.
Since completing this video, I've hit a couple more beasts on film. I'm going to talk to my Premiere friend, and with a little luck I'll put them on my next video.
