Corduroy?

Post by Jiffy »

I know facile and amerreta are the standard as far as fabric is concerned, but do you guys think corduroy would be usable?

To thick to make a performance bag. I'm sure for starters it would do fine.

Ehh, I have been using ultra suede but I saw a really thin type of corduroy that was about as supple as ultra suede, probably not as good as ultra suede light tho, thx for the response btw. It amazes me how helpful these forums are

agreed, if you think it's supple enough by all means, go for it! i dug up this bag mahhkohh made a few weeks ago, it appears to be corduroy-like, but you'd have to ask him

the stitching is kinda wierd because the greenish stuff is silly to stitch. but its playable and totally cool to look at non the less :D

if you still dont know how to show pics pm me! i´m sure someone just pm´ed you some instructions :) thats how we roll around here :D

the fabric i used was sold as amaretta, and its not really a performance bag material! but i think if you can find fabric like this one, its really thin but because of the structure of the fabric it gets stiff when you sew it together in small pieces like we do, then you should totally test it and see how it works. after all, you may just have found the new universal footbag fabric... :D
