Has anyone tried stitching a bag using kevlar thread?
At work the fibre optic patch cords we use have this stranded kevlar inside the sheathing to add tensile strength to the fibre...
I spent a while today stripping some back and collecting the kevlar with the idea of using it to stitch a footbag.
The whle bundle of fibres makes a fairly thick thread, but can be whittled down to what is needed.
So I'm wondering if it's worth my while trying? Maybe someone has used something similar in the past..
