Worlds 2013 Routines

Post by Strix »

I have been watching allot of the videos from 2013 worlds. I enjoyed Jindra Smolas Semifinal Routine especially. I think his use of an instrumental rendition for the Rolling Stones Paint it Black was a nice touch.

Ken Somolinos was another player I enjoyed watching. His qualifier set was great but I felt his motion did not flow with his music piece as well as others. However it was still world class. But his semifinal routine moved to the beat far better. Plus the Good the Bad and the Ugly sample used in the track was hot.

There are countless other players worth mentioning. Cassy Taylor moves exceptionally well to music as well. I watched a handful of routines that looked allot more like shredding than choreography.

Anybody got a favorite or just a vid they care to comment on?

This was my very first event with routines and it was crazy intense to see them happen live! You have no clue what's going to happen.

Chris Dean had super sweet music that went really well with his shred.

Felix had a really nice routine with a unique finisher!

Dustin had nice choreography and went dropless in semis.

You did great. I have seen a handful of your personal vids and some from this comp. You show your effort and dedication.

Felix did have some nice runs. It would have been sick to be at the event and feel the energy. Even just to spectate.
