Sweet thread, I've always been interested in some of the names. Some fit really well and others like pixie and fairy make zero sense to me ha.

Request: Where does clipper come from? Seems so basic to me now that I've taken the name for granted, but the etymology isn't apparent to me.

With "Green Eggs & Ham" we were actually mocking complicated weird-sounding names and tried to think of something absurd. I'm pretty sure Alex Zerbe (might have been Matt Baker) was the Seuss enthusiast who suggested it, and I immediately liked it. I have no regrets
