Footbag Fund

I have an idea, I don't know if this has been done or is going on but oh well. Ok, I know a few players who would die for a decent bag or a pair of lavers, but don't have access mainly because of financial issues or living overseas. I think it would be a great idea if everyone chipped in like $1 for "The footbag fund"? I don't know how I would set this up or anything or if it has already been proposed. But this would be a good thing and help the fellow footbaggers in need. If everyone on the forums like modified,flipsider, or footbag.org chipped in $1 for this, then there would be over $1000 to go to players who need good gear and can't get it easily. I'm still thinking/planning this out. Just a thought, let me hear your comments/questions. Peace

Nice idea but I think a more effective approach would be for anyone in need to get a job, then a cheap pair of lavers on ebay, then a sandman.

I do, however, think that bringing old pairs of lavers to symposia would be a good way to disseminate marginal (but likely still functional) gear.

I really love how, as of now, all the answers in the poll are either `yes` or `You`re an idiot.` There`s no middle ground.

I like Ted`s suggestion though. I have given/sold 3 pairs of old lavers to new players.
