2004 Steel City Open?

General footbag-related topics that don't fit elsewhere go in here.

Do you think Steel City (if it goes down) should be at the same venue, in the middle of the festival?

I dug the street festival scene!

2004 Steel City Open?

Post by Caleb »

i've been debating to myself but then i realized that the best thing to do is to probably ask the public. what do you guys think? should steel city continue its tradition? i've been really busy but this year wouldn't be entirely by myself and as all events go, they get better with age. anyway, would anyone come to the pittsburgh, pa area this summer-ish if it were held again? anyone have any comments about last year and what should be done this year if it is held?

well, majority rule appears to have stated that i suck and no one wants to kick with me. haha, i actually didn't expect ANY votes in that column but my joke backfired. the incredible amount of intrest in the number of replies on this thread seems to support the votes conclusion also.

ah well, bye bye Steel City. i'll see y'all at worlds.

What a shame, I would have come this year. I would probably like the street festival atmosphere, too. Oh well.

Yeah dude.. Screw that poll. If I can possibly squeeze it in I'll come. And I'm sure the PF crew will represent one way or the other.

Please hold the event.

Yeah, the Steel City Open 2003 was my first attendance of a footbag event. It would be nice to be able to go again. :)

Just to let you know. I voted for the last option. Not seriously though. I didn't know it would sway your descision at all if people voted there.

I would come if I could.

I'd probably go. Pittsburgh is only about 2-3 good CD's length away.

Not that it matters, but it's "appalled", 2 /p/s, 2/l/s, and no /u/, unless the funky British spelling with the /u/ comes in instances that don't involve the 'or' sound, and I just don't know about it.

edit: for some reason I had "[/quote]" at the end of my post..
