I just wanted to see the percent of female shredders on this forum. So far i only noticed that there were two girls and the rest guys.

off the top of my head i count at least 5. but youre right.
i teach a group of girls twice a week-ish.

does anyone think the Shreditas website is sexist? i mean i dont or anything just thought about it the other day that they have a whole website set apart ONLY for Female shredders. seems a lil odd if u really think about it? idk mayb im jus bein dumb

My girlfriend is totally interested in footbag, I lent her a bag and I make her practice, but she can barely hit the bag more than a few times, but she is really excited about learning it, she's a contemporary dancer and she's all about expressing herself through body movement so footbag is right up her alley! I'm gonna get her to start posting here lol.

my girlfriend plays too. she can hit a few 2s, both sides. and she does ballet

actually, considering the percent of shredders that are male, I'm thinkin almost 90%, it seems perfectly fine to have website dedicated to the shreditas, im not criticizing you this time unemployed, but being that there are so many guys in the sport and we run and make up almost all of the websites, it just seems like they're entitled to a website for themselves.

Personally I don't think there is anything sexist about it at all. Do you honestly feel discriminated against because of being male and not being on the shredita website Jim? Do you want to encourage more girls to play footbag - or do you want to it to continue to be a male domintated sport?

I think, as I commented somewhere else, people in the majority don't understand minorities at all. Of course that's a generalisation, you don't need to tell me that - I already know!

ah dude you guys totally forgot about me!

wtf. yeah we are the minority in the sport of footbag. doesn't matter that much to me though. i may look good in a dress but i am a big tom boy. i hang out with all guys anyway so it doesnt really make much a difference to me that i usually only get to kick with guys. it would be sweet to kick with a few girls everyonce in a while though. i get to kick with heather(slyliners) occasionally so its alright i guess. anyway. dont forget about me again or you are all going to be in BIG trouble.
