It would just be silly to list every existing set from a different position.

Example: Neo (which is a fairy set from an inside delay).

In my opinion, if set has own name, we should put it on the list and it's not silly. Neo Butterfly sound better then Inside-set Fairy Butterfly.

Helical - frigid osis set sailing

Symposium whirling swirling - this may be called Jolimont - you'll have to ask Ales.

chris, huge props on putting this together again!

a question about warped...

shouldn't it be symposium omletting in stead of symposium eggbeating?
since it's an atomic illusioning set?

Chris pinkus said to me it was symposium eggbeater set...

Eggbeater is atomic legover, omellete is atomic illusion...hmm, maybe chris pinkus is wrong?

EDIT: And, oh yeah, great great list you put together here :)

Thanks guys! I knew most of these, this list is rather old, so I just posted it quick without my updates (in a seperate file).

What I may do for slight variations, such as Neo set, is list it under fairy. This way, we won't have to list things multiple times, but get all of the proper titles across. Similar with symposium variants. Some sets performed symp are literally the same as their non-symp components, like symp frantic vs. frantic, completely performed the same way, minus a plant. They are SO close to the same thing, if you can hit one, you can hit the other.

j/k, lets call outside set pixie Deez set, liek Deez Nuts, cause Daryl always uses this set. ;)

i originally called it symp omelette set in my first post, but i also said it's like a symp eggbeater set within that same post. eveyone started calling it symp eggbeating from then on. and i just went with it. so yes, it is technically symp omelette set because legover cannoy be involved in a set, AND because after the set, you assume the next component will be op side.

Wait wait wait. Just help me out because all of a sudden I feel like newbie again. Is this true with ALL sets? I was wondering this over the past week. This would help me out tons.

Ok so wait, are you saying that for a set to be a set, then next component must be op side? absolutely not!!! Pixie ss mirage. Pixie set. Parkwalk, Pixie set ss butterfly, Furious George, barraging set ss double over down...

bigdirtyfoot: it's 'important' that some sets have an op/same side name variation because the performance of these moves is slightly differnt when performed on different sides. I believe Atomic set is the a good example, because of how the bag goes from one side of the body to the other (thus xdex), where as tapping (same side atomic) is performed just a bit different.
I've recently experienced this with Nuclear, Matador vs. Barfry. I actually perform the Nuclear dex differently.

Again, this doesn't work with all sets, but when you're performing the moves, you can feel a difference.

does a rooted set get a an extra add because of its symp character ?
hit rooted zulu symp mirage today and thought about how many adds it would get. Without the rooted add it would make a 4-add. It's far too easy for being my first 5-adder
