Viruses in Emails. Please read.

It has been brought to our attention that certain people have received viruses in their emails, sent by fellow footbaggers. As much as we are sure that this was probably a virus on the senders computer, we advise everyone to be wary of emails sent by footbaggers and encourage people to use PMing rather than Email. If it is found otherwise, and i'm sure this goes without saying, that person will be banned.

One way of remedying the problem would be to take your email out of your profile, only use PM's, and then if the person is trusted, give them your email through PM rather than publicly displaying it.

Can you be more specific about the type of email?

Was it one where it says Microsoft is paying people a bunch of money to forward an e-mail to everyone they can?

What does the receiver have to do to make the virus work?

I've PMed the person that sent me the problem to get more information on things such as this, but am yet to get a reply back. I'll let you know when I find out.
