It has been brought to our attention that certain people have received viruses in their emails, sent by fellow footbaggers. As much as we are sure that this was probably a virus on the senders computer, we advise everyone to be wary of emails sent by footbaggers and encourage people to use PMing rather than Email. If it is found otherwise, and i'm sure this goes without saying, that person will be banned.
One way of remedying the problem would be to take your email out of your profile, only use PM's, and then if the person is trusted, give them your email through PM rather than publicly displaying it.
Sorry for this inconvenience. We are working on getting everything sorted out.

A very similar (probably the same) issue was brought up at footbag.org about 6 months ago - we are talking about a virus that looks at your address book and then sends emails to people on your address book from people on your address book. So the virus is probably not on the computer you get the email from. I highly doubt that the viruses are being sent on purpose.
My advice would be to not open emails that have a very small amount of text and attachment that you don't want/don't understand why the person is sending it to you. If unsure email them and ask what it is - chances are they will have no knowledge of it. Also look what kind of file the attachment is - things like zips and exes should not be downloaded unless you are convinced you know what it is.
