job?
job?
This summer I won't have much to do so I'm going to try to get a job. I'm only 15 and never had a job before... Also my people skills are terrible.
Anything you can think of or that you yourself have done to get your first job? Thanks

Two words; COFFEE SHOP
You wouldn't believe how easy it is. A great job for the summer (free drinks), Massive tips, Looks great on a resume (people skills are number 1 for retail), you don't need college, and you dont have to say "would you like fries with that.
I worked night shift at a tim hortons, and I brought in over 100$ in tips a week. The thing is that all my customers were regulars, and I had their coffees ready before they even walked in the door. They would just drop me 3$ to 5$ and leave. Massive tips.
One story. Our city just got a casino, and a lady came in asking for directions. I drew her a map and offered her a coffee, she accepted and left. An hour later she came back and gave me a $50 bill just for being nice and couteous (she won the jackpot). So it has its benefits.
You could always shovel crap for a living.
