Pixie + Spin
Pixie + Spin
I hit yesterday a new move. Set is from right Pixie, then spin in left side and Mirage ended in right Toe. Can anybody write me Jobs of this trick and its name? I don't know, how to describe a spin, if there is a Pixie set before. Without Pixie it should be back spin and the name of the move Spinning Mirage. But with Pixie? Still backspin or maybe frontspin and Inspinning Mirage?

not quite> He probably did a BACK spin, not a front spin. Since you set the pixie from the rt foot, if you spun counterclocklwise, that is a back spin. If you spun clockwise, that is a front spin.
Toe set>same in [dex]>(back) spin>op in [dex]>op toe [del]
Toe set>same in [dex]>(back) spin>op in [dex]>op toe [del]

I cannot find the video you talked about but now I'm preety sure my move is Pixie Gyro Mirage.
Can you tell me how it is with another sets? Where back- and where frontspin is? And maybe it depends only on which Toe or Clipper started set?
For example:
(all started from right Toe)
Pixie + Spin counterclocklwise
Pixie + Spin clocklwise
Fairy + Spin counterclocklwise
Fairy + Spin clocklwise
Atomic + Spin counterclocklwise
Atomic + Spin clocklwise
Quantum + Spin counterclocklwise
Quantum + Spin clocklwise
(all started from left foot Clipper)
Stepping + Spin counterclocklwise
Stepping + Spin clocklwise
Whirling + Spin counterclocklwise
Whirling + Spin clocklwise
Reverse Whirling + Spin counterclocklwise
Reverse Whirling + Spin clocklwise
Swirling + Spin counterclocklwise
Swirling + Spin clocklwise
Reverse Swirling + Spin counterclocklwise
Reverse Swirling + Spin clocklwise
and so on, and so on...
Sorry for this stupid topic but my friend mixed me up when we talked about my new trick

I think that ya all are wrong
We can't describe Spins in that way:
front Spin = clockwise and back spin = counterclockwise. It depends on which body side is set.
If you set bag from left clip (right side clipper) then counterclockwise is back spin and clockwise is front spin. And if you set from right clipper (left side clipper) then front spin is counterclockwise and back spin is clockwise.
And I think that after In-To-Out Dex (Pixie Set) from right toe the bag is on left body side and you have natural-body-motion to the right side. And if you will continue this motion and then make mirage with right leg and catch on left toe then it ist (back) SPIN and the move is Pixie Spinning Mirage.
But if you will change the motion and will spin to left (counterclockwise in this situation) then it is front spin and the move is Pixie Inspinning Mirage
We can't talk about Gyro in this move because we all know the true and correct def. of Gyro.
That is what I think about this. Who agree with me?

I think that the general concensus for dex > spin > dex is this:
there are 4 types of spins > dex:
- gyro
- spinning (paradox)
- ingyro
- inspinning (paradox)
so if you set your pixie from RIGHT TOE :
(CW = ClockWise; CCW = Counter Clockwise)
- pixie > CW spin > OP mirage = pixie INSPINNING MIRAGE
- pixie > CW spin > SAME mirage = pixie INGYRO MIRAGE
- pixie > CCW spin > OP mirage = PIXIE GYRO MIRAGE
- pixie > CCW spin > SAME mirage = PIXIE SPINNING MIRAGE
when you set from pixie and go in the opposite direction to where you pixie leg is heading at the end (like spinning CCW set from right toe), it is a normal spin/gyro and can be written BACK SPIN because the bag goes across your BACK first. It is what Honza does on the Massive Tricks if I recall correctly.
If you pixie set and spin in the direction your pixie leg is heading (example: spinning clockwise when you set from RIGHT toe), it is an inspin/ingyro. This can be written FRONT spin, because the bag passes the front of your body first as you spin.
Has this cleared anything up or just confused people even more?

I didn't know that so many people were able to do pixie spinning. I had only seen honza perform this on video.
I don't care what honza says though... pixie spinning diving anything = hard. Honza is just a badass

It is very possible. Honza should be able to hit it soonSlipknut wrote:if that's not that hard for you, have you hit pixie spinning diving paradox whirl (alpine slapstick)? I was thinking about it a while ago and wondered if you could pixie spinning duck/dive.Webslinger wrote:Actually that is not so hard.
