I have known about that trick with the Java Script for years, but didn't think it would cause this much drama, as it usually doesn't execute without a warning prompt.

I also know a trick to grab key strokes using a hidden flash file. I would never and have never done this. But it can be done, so be aware.

The file I created prevented keystrokes, so you couldn't type while on that page. Shred Session records keystrokes too, but only to perform moves.

Hope they find a patch or something, cause I hate Navigator.

Yeah I just switched to Mozilla FireFox. I'm fucking sick of spyware, pop ups, etc. etc.

IE is so exploitable it's laughable. I've seen people recieve virii for looking at an IMAGE.

Well I honestly don't know because I just started using Mozilla Firefox, but I really like it... I just customized the crap out of it and now it looks and feels awesome to me. Much better than IE. Not sure about Opera... never used it.

Hmm.... well. I got two themes I like from:

Tools>Themes (Click Get More Themes)

Then...

I customized the hell out of the toolbar by going to:

View>Toolbars>Customize

You can add/subtract buttons, move the placement of things, add spaces, add text under the buttons that say what it is (Back, Forward, Home, etc.), add Google Search boxes...

I also adjusted the font some so that I could see it a little better on my computer, and you can adjust the size of most of the toolbar stuff. Let's see... I imported my "Favorites" from IE into my "Bookmarks" from Mozilla Firefox. That worked well...

OH... tabbed windows. Add the "New Tab" button and now you can have however many pages you want open in one browser, instead of multiple browsers open. I'm not sure if that uses less resources but I imagine it would. Does that help any? There's a lot more you can do, but I'm just reading the FAQ and such now. That was the stuff I figured out on my own.

Firefox is free, small and fast.

Opera has adds or you have to pay for it, it's heavier but has a lot of nice features that come with the heaviness.

I use the real Mozilla.

Opera/Mozilla/etc. (excluding IE) all have similar features, but its the little idiosyncrasies that distinguishes the browsers from each other. I think you would have to experiment with a lot of browsers, and then choose the one that suits your browsing style the best.

All the browsers are the same to me... Anything Firefox has I imagine IE can have with some addons. I used to use firefox, but it got annoying.

For me it's not about the features and such. It's about security and displaying of pages.

Everybody should stop using IE for the simple reason that it doesn't display standard html and css like it's meant to be displayed. Opera and Mozilla both support the newest xhtml standard and the css 2 standard fully, IE has problems with normal css and html.

I hate it when I do a webpage and test it with different browser and every browser except IE knows how to display it and I have to use some hacks to make it work on IE without altering the display on other browsers. Sucks!
