Problem with camera

ok well i have a quick question wanna see if anyone can help me out here..when i record on my camera it works fine,plays on the camera etc.then i load it on my comp and sometimes my video files become corrupted and wont play past a certain point.like tonight i hit pixie legover and going to edit,it wouldnt save becuase it was a bad file.but yea i dont know if its the memory card or the transfer from the camera to the comp.any answers?
