I want to fill my one of my crochete bags with something different because it is too light and it really sucks. I was thinking prehaps BBs or tiny lead splitshot, but I figuered I would askyour opinions first....
What should I do to modify my ultra crappy crochete bag?

Yeah, you will get the most feedback in the stitching forum. But, why would you want to go through the trouble of re-filling a bag like that with something different. You can easly spend as much money on a new sandman, and have a better bag.
Oh, and why would you want to modify a crochete bag in the first place?

Then you're looking for bird shot. You can get that at most stores that carry gun supplies (as far as I know). Zeke told me about bird shot and said that it's smaller than bbs are, but is still heavy. I think that's what he said...

i walked through a dollar store and found beads of many designs....but one type of bead they had was fairly small plastic with a metal (most likely aluminum) ring in the middle and is has good weight to it without being bulky in size. um point of the story is check your dollar stores...
