I take lots of stills with my camcorder and I've been recording in widescreen lately. I've started using premiere to capture my stills because with other programs it's a pain to capture more than one image at a time. Anyway, so my problem is that when I capture the single frame of video it creates a BMP file, but it is not in the same proportions as the widescreen video preview (ie: when I export video it comes out widescreen but single frames stretch back to fullscreen dimensions). The same thing happens with Irfanview and Photoshop.
Does anyone know how to do this? Since I discovered that they are not capturing properly I have started recording in fullscreen again, but I would prefer widescreen.
