ARG! DIVX Installation help!

I am not using my computer first off. The problem resides after the download and during installation when AutoUpdate.ico comes around, it always says it cannot write that file. I am downloading from divx.com and following all steps perfectly, not to mention it has worked in the past but I cannot get past this installation. This is really depressing because all decent videos are comming out in this format and I cannot just as easily ask someone to convert it to wmp.

Please, you have to understand the frustration when you cannot watch all these worlds videos and their right there...
