Two marines died yesterday in a massive shootout where I am suppose to be but I'm stuck in this god damn hospital rotting due to coronial ulcers in my right eye. Now I have a buddy with shrapnel in his body sleeping ten feet from me in which he will never be healed. FUCK. What really pisses me off is this damn picture:
I WAS WATCHING THAT SAME HATCHBACK FROM 1-6 IN THE MORNING BEFORE I WAS SENT HERE.
I only have a few days left here and I'm going back to get some, they say 300 of those pieces of shit have been killed by us since I have been here. Now I know for a fact that my unit has less then the desired amount of marines and I can't wait to get back and help. Fuck.
I find that picture funny, it reminds me of mexicans (I'm not saying I don't like them) but the car looks like a honda civic with 3 times the amount of people in it than the car is supposed to fit.
im really gonna laugh if kerry gets elected, pulls us out of iraq, leaves them in trouble, and we become teh laughing stock of the world.Bush rules..sorry to hear man,i wish i could be over there helping too.my uncle was teh commander of the USS Kitty Hawk for the marjority of teh war, then stepped down becuase he's been working his ass off forever.Good luck man, hope you recover soon

I'm sorry to be the one to break it to you - but you already are teh (sic) laughing stock of the world!
When I feel that Australian politics is fucked I always have to remind myself that Arnold Schwarzenegger is a political leader in your country
(Of course things like spending a billion $$ a day to fight a war that was started because you thought a country had weapons of mass destruction when they didn't is not something that makes you look good in other countries eyes - especially countries that have actually experienced real war on their own land)
I'm not into politics or current events much... but everyone keeps saying countries. To me countries are the people and from what i am experiencing about 90% of the citizens i hear from aren't in favor of the war.
So do you mean country or gov? Or am i clueless again
And sorry to hear that Maraxus

I always feel like America's political system is just a blanket of lies, to put it in a less profane manner. I don't feel any freer being here, our democracy is a great failure. I mean, personally I don't support the war, and personally, I don't support Aaron being out there. But I respect Aaron's choice, and I've talked to him, and he's a cool guy. I just don't believe that we're "protecting" ourselves... we're making ourselves look like assholes. We're going to be the next Greece. Don't any of you realize this? That's why I'm getting the fuck out of dodge sometime in the near future. Some power is going to take America and I'd rather not be there when it happens. Y'all just don't see it because you're too blinded by your pride. And I'd agree with Jeremy - we're the bully that everyone laughs at behind its back.

In a democracy the Government is supposed to represent the people. If the people disagree with the government they should elect a government that they agree with.
Generally talking about countries means you are talking about the official national views - the views supported by the government. For example Australia supports the illegal detention of children who are fleeing oppressive regimes in other countries. It doesn't matter what the people of Australia think.
I am a citizen of the world before I am a citizen of my nation.
