remember the video battles? (no video)

ok so how many of u remember the video battles that went on modified a while back. i thought that those were really cool. they pushed people to make the best videos they could, it made some better editors, and it gave me something to watch. it would be cool if that could happen once more.
a lot of use want to see worlds footage ... i can tell by the amount of threads just asking for footage. so to bring back the battles, people with footage from worlds or any other footage can battle it out. like the first 2 people that post a video say in this thread can battle it out ... or people can put out challenges. one person can post that they'll battle and then someone else can post that they accept the challenge.
if any of this makes sense ... thats good.
if not ... then just delete this thread

i'd love to see the battles going on again, but they were really hard to do and judge properly. some one edits a really great video with okay shred, and some one would edit an okay video with really great shred, and it seemed to me that it was the good shred what was winning the battles, not the editing. also i'm not motivated to make videos under those type of circumstances. i'm rather pressed for time, as i'm sure alot of people are, and i'm a pretty picky editor when i really want to make a good video, so i can take weeks, even months to make a vid, i just wouldn't be able to adhere to the deadlines.

QuantumBalance: If I recall we were all lined up to battle, but you were the one who didn't end up making one.

On a different note: are you doing any video editing these days? You definately had some major talent. You should use it.

Depending on whether or not I get a camera this week, I'll be down for doing one ending next Wednesday.
