Footbag bracelet/wristband

I posted this in equipment/bags, but i figured this is more of a general topic after I made the post.

Everyone's wearing yellow livestrong wristbands these days, and it just came to me that us footbaggers need a global wristband to sport. Something, anything, that shows that we are footbaggers. Imagine how easy it would be to walk up to someone with some plaid colored wristband that said footbag, and you'd instantly be buds and have someone to kick with. Besides, it would still be a cool fashion statement that you could display all the time.

Anybody with me? maybe flipsider or some store could sell some wristbands that we could sport

well not all players walk around with their playing shoes. In fact, once i get my new pair, i'm gonna wear my vans around and carry my lavers in my bookbag.

I think that bracelet is a pretty cool idea. Mabey if we all could come to a consensus for a design that stands out we could have people make them and bring them to tournies and jams to pass out or sell cheaply. I know I would need 3 for myself and my 2 pals.

I'm not sure how far this idea will get, but i do think its a pretty good one.

For me, I usually wear my lavers EVERYWHERE (especially when they're brand new...good to break them in.) But it's not a bad idea to get some shoes that you can wear casual but still shred in.

As for this wrist band things, I think it'd look style-ish. I'd buy one and wear it ALL the time. Or what about like...Footbag headbands (not sweat bands but like a bandana lookin' thing that you tie around your head *makes you look like a ninja, and everyone wants to look like a ninja

that's a cool idea. I don't mind wearing lavers, but I don't really like wristsbans, maybe like a secret tattoo on a part of your body. Like footbag's a secret underground club.

bracelets seem like a nice idea, but they don't stick out like a pair of modded lavers (no offence to the people who choose other than lavers) but a bracelet is quite small...something bigger maybe like a ball cap, bandana(sp?), or one of those iron-on patches for a back pack or something...don't get me wrong, i'd buy a bracelet.

also, if this idea got big enough, sites like flipsider and footbag.org could put it up in an faq or something for people to look out for. Then since those big sites attract most of the new people, they could find local shredders by accident. I dunno...just a thought.

make some neal armstrong braclets... like them yellow ones, and insteed of haveing LiveStrong on it have LiveFootbag

I love that idea!!!

A. could be a awesome way to sperad word about the sport since people always ask about jewleary.

B. It be just fun! but you should be able to buy the wirstbands since alot of freestyler don't have then chance to go to jams. Maybe flipsider can make some up for cheap.

I definitely think wristbands are the way to go. Just need to get something that lasts long and you wouldnt have to ever take em off. Everybody always asks about wristbands and stuff too, so it would be an easy way to spread the sport. I wear my lavers all the time too, but i notice wristbands way easier. Hopefully someone can make a design and sell a couple, cause i know i'd buy at least 10 for me and some friends

i was in school just thinkin of some cool things to put on it. something simple like play footbag(mentioned before), footbag is life, WWKD, shredtastic, or just plain old footbag.

that would be so awsome to get footbag bracelets. I can spot people by there lavers, but some people's arn't modded, like mine, and when I look for lavers I always end up spotting non footbaggers. The only problem with a bracelet is that it might be hard to make. We could just give a design for one and have everyone make there own or something. A patch would be good too though.

Patch would work great. You can buy coloured plain wristbands for cheap anyways.
