One note ....

The length of this first competition isn't going to be set, rather, I will watch the votes closely and when they are no longer coming in at a decent rate, I will close it. This will be the basis for all future competition lengths which will have a set time frame for the polls. I will give at least 10 HOURS notice before I am going to close the poll, just so people don't get caught off guard. I'm expecting the polls to be open at least 5-6 days.

Anyway, just thought I'd let you guys know.

This is a learning process and as time goes on we will all learn how to best run these competitions.

As always, if there are any concerns or questions, feel free to ask them.

All other comments are welcome though.

Ha, so what can I say? These are combos that combine?

Yeah, I don't know .. Have been doing something thinking about that rule, and it may not be in place for future comps.

For now though, you can just talk generally about the combos ..

You know, like ... I don't know .. I'm sure you can think of something.

I just would like to say my objective opinion on the combos, what I see, nothing opinionated, but I guess some things are "bad" things to say, plus some are "good" things to say, is it ok to say them?

EDIT: Good job on everyone's combos and getting them in. I would have liked to seen more (mine  ) and some others that are holding out. I've almost seen all of them, Ill make my vote in the next 20 min. Nice job everybody!

Well, for now you can wait until the voting is over, and then you'll be free to speak your mind.

This will give us something to do while we wait for the next competitions. Round table discussion and dissection of all the combos.. yay!

In other news, There are a lot more votes in the open comp. then there are in this one, please everyone, remember to VOTE for all comps!

wow - the vote is amazingly close! That's so awesome - I think this is a great example of how the competition should run!

I think Rory wins an award for the best music ;)

I really liked all the combos and had a hard time voting!

Yeah the vote is close ...

I'm glad to be in the running :)

I'm going to have to announce a closing date/time relatively soon so everyone knows when this tight race will come to an end.

I want to monitor the votes a bit more though and see if they continue coming in with great regularly in the next day or so.

What do you mean by the 'testing their limits' quote? I don't quite understand.

I am seeing these vids and wondering if these sick 3's are the best that the boys can do or if they are starting somwhere in the middle, just to see where everyone stands...like you said now we have vids so we know where the competition between shredders is headed....so just to make my question clear....would you (anyone) say that these are good sick 3's for intermediate, or are they more like a warm up, because they are the first vids in?

Mine was most definitely not the best I can do, but we've been over why.

Mine was relatively difficult for me. I don't do stepping set a lot.

Nick, I wanted to let you know that I deleted your post because you are not allowed to talk about who you voted for or talk positively or negatively about any single combo. That way it does not sway the votes of others.

I think the intermediates in general could have been better and so could the Open. I had a very easy time voting for each because in my mind the top ones stood out very easily.

czesc Wiktor! :)
hehe its nice that you like my style, especially i don´t like it really...
i hope in near future i can controll my arms in a better way.

i like this competition cause it´s very close, and this vote is fitting to the combos shown.
if it will stay so close until the end, we could make another small round where the competitors who are very close to each other at the top do another sickthree combo...perhaps some guys can do even better combos!

jeremy congratz to your combo...i´m very impressed 8)
