here are some more that get commonly tossed out:
- plo = pixie legover
- dlo = double legover
- "the" = performing a trick unclean. as in missing a dexterity when the bag does not actually pass any part of the leg performing the dexterity.
- choice = most excellent and playable. used to describe the ultimate and best possible shit for whatever sitch you apply the term though most often applied to the *best* footbags (eg. "dude, this felix is max choice, we should bust large with it." (my current top bag is a Felix named Max Choicington, I guess you guys get why now!)
- bust = to throwdown = to shred = chuck your hugest shit out or whatever you feel, just bust I say! (whenever passersby come through our area I call out to my shred buddy Derrick "bust!" and we show off!)
- BSOS = Bee Sauce = "Honey" = hitting a trick from both sides in one string, a very choice thing to do
- laver = *the* shoe to have according to many proven sources, user or not.. um,.. it is huge in our culture.
- abshire, lonn, freddy t, felix, carol etc - know the big names, they make choice bags that lead to hein bustage.
- hein = there is no level above hein. oh man.. hein is intense.
- hein bustage = a term I made up one day.. uhh.. it's not actually used by anyone but me.. feel free to apply it when max bustage is bustalized in front of you eyes.
- props = given when due, not an excessive treat to be devoured greedily, please use with discression, I hear they pump up the egomonster.
Uhh.. Other people can chuck out more, here are some to get the ball rolling.
I like slang if it is usefull.

The funny thing is I forgot to include that term because it actually does not exist in my footbag vernacular. (That word is for Dan Ednie)Slowsis wrote:flip wrongside-should not even happen, right tom
What a beautiful mistake!
Fuck flip! We are all smarter than that! Just use both feet!

i forgot about shuffle and toe shuffle, but I don't know what these mean... I think shuffle has something to do with lots of butterflys in your guiltless runs, but I might be completly wrong and toe shuffle is like lots of double dexing toe moves or something... anyways if someone could clear that up it'd be nice...

I was talking to a friend a long time ago on MSN and saying how I got props for something, or something, and she thought I meant, like, props in a play or movie. She was very confused and it was really funny when I found out why she didn't understand what I was talking about.mosher wrote:- props
frontside -- refers to both doing tricks only in front of you (no spinning or osii) and a symposium dexterity as the initial dexterity of a move.
backside -- refers to the last set of dexterities performed symposium in a single move.
alpha, beta, gamma, etc -- another means by which to transpose the symposium dexterities in a trick.
thin, iffy, toey, slurry -- refers to a dexterity that is between "clean" and "the". (Slurry is also used specifically for a "the" stepping set).
shred --linking moves. Shredding is linking move into move into move and on and on.
blades -- your legs (hence "shredding")
downtime/uptime -- refers to dexterities performs after and before the peak of the bag, respectively.
alpine -- refers to a duck performed between elements in a move (ie: ripwalk = blurry butterfly. alpine ripwalk = blurry ducking butterfly)
etc...
EDIT: doing lots of butterflies is almost the complete opposite of shuffle (unless you are doing a lot of ripwalks and sidewalks, etc.). Like Aric said, shuffling is linking double (and more) dex tricks back to back where at least one dex is uptime and another downtime (ie: double downs aren't shuffle moves). Toe shuffle is shuffle with only toe-to-toe moves. You are probably thinking of bails, which are moves that are very easy for you and used to help link tricks. The common bail moves are butterfly, pdx mirage and osis. Everybody has their own unique bails, though. I bail to ducking clippers and symposium pixies, Vasek bails to ps whirls and ripsteins.
