I've been a member since it was formed. I love that footbag has a non-profit organization that people can donate to and it helps to promote and improve the sport. Now that the IFPA is in place it ensures that the sport can be community driven rather than driven by the tireless work of one person (cough cough Steve cough cough).
When the IFPA Sanctioned CSS6 it also allowed for me to get more donations from outside sources because they were able to use it as a tax deduction. It helped pay for some serious expenses that otherwise would have cost us fun times like the players' party.

You should all join that aren't, just because if you all take the initiative (even just the $10 for a year) as a group, we'll have a bigger footbag budget for worlds and stuff, and since its going to be huge this year (even though I and many others can't go
) it'll be great to have such a massive event behind us to in the following years.
I'm getting lifetime next renweal for sure, always wanted to, but finally have the cash.

I joined because its a good thing to do!
It also allows you to post events and have webspace to upload media etc. The event posting thing is good because you can help represent footbag in your part of the world.
Everyone should join to give IFPA all the help they can get! We need them!
