Secret Injuries

Post by jon »

Being injured has made me wonder what other players do in the same situation. Then I began to think, if I was really really good would I want people to know I was hurt. Say I was one of the top 5 players in the world and really cared about my international ranking would I let people know I was hurt or just keep a very low profile and not shred. Maybe knowing that someone else is hurt gives up and coming players a mental edge knowing that they can practice when others are not. It is interesting to think about at least and makes me wonder if such things have happened in the past.

Does anyone know of this type of thing happening? (no names are needed of course but would be nice :p)
