Footbags/Vids for Sale

Post by calex »

I know that this isn't Ebay, and I know that this might go against modified's user policy, but.....

I am trying to sell off some of my footbags and videos. I want to sell all the footbags for $30 and all the videos for $30. If you are interested, please send me a private message. Preference goes to people I know. I will ship only in the US or to Canada. You pay for shipping costs as well. I will wait approximately a week to see if anyone I know wants the items, then I will sell to the first person who is interested. I will only ship after receiving a money order or check (you are going to have to trust me).

I am selling the following footbags, and am not willing to break up the group unless some offer blows me away. Some of the bags need washing. The patches I mention have shoe goo on them.

Freedom Footbag sandbag (unused, needs breaking in)
Abshire Mini (medium use, one small patch, needs breaking in)
2 Will Gibson bags (unused, need breaking in)
Mirken bag (heavy use, no holes, panels leak)
Mirken bag (unused, nice rainbow coloring)
Carol bag (heavily used, two large patches, one panel needs patching)
Jane Zerbe bag (lightly used, small, heavy, needs breaking in )
Abshire bag (medium use, two small patches, needs breaking in)
Mike Wilson bag (heavily used, several holes need patching, no leaks)
Lonn Smith bag (unused, needs breaking in)

I am selling the following videos, and am not willing to break up the group unless some offer blows me away.

The Lion's Den (vhs)
Fo Shizza (vhs)
Vortex (vhs)
The Next Level (vhs)
Where the Ripwalk Ends (vhs)
Time 2 Jam (vhs)
Just Shred 2: Like Whoa (vhs)
Balance of Power (dvd)

Good luck.

I don't get it

You want to sell all the footbags together, is that what you said?

If so, for 30 dollars?

I'm confused with this post.

Why are you selling all your bags anyway?

All the footbags (11 in all) for $30 plus shipping.

All the videos (8 in all) for $30 plus shipping.

Why am I selling all this? I still have a couple bags I am keeping for myself. I only have one video that I am keeping (The Move). The bags and videos are just collecting dust in my closet. I decided to get rid of them while cleaning out my room. Plus I don't play as much as I used to.

Why for the price I set? I think it is more than a fair price for the items. My intent is not to make money, but to get rid of everything. I am not hard up for money.

Why sell everything together? Because I don't want to have to keep track of a million bids and ship to a million different places. All together seems easiest for me. Plus I wouldn't know how to price the heavily used bags. If you don't want something in the group, too bad because I am shipping everything together anyway. You can trash or give away what you don't want.

Why give prefrential treatment to those I know? Just for that reason -- because I know them.

One last thing.

Again, I am going to wait about a week to see if anyone I know wants the items. Please do not flood me with private messages asking me about the status of the items -- you simply have to let me know that you are interested. I am not going to reply to anyone's private messages for a week. I am not trying to be secretive, and I am not trying to play anyone. I will post a reply to this thread in about a week to let everyone know.

Thank you for your interest.

I'm only interested in one bag in particular, but I have an idea...

I'll buy all of the bags for $30, (possibly) take the one I want, get many pictures of all of them, post those online, and handle running "auctions" for each of the bags. I will donate all (but $15 if I keep a bag) of the money to the IFPA. That way many people can benefit from this as well as the IFPA.

Thanks to all who were interested. There seemed to be the most interest in the footbags. I am sorry if I was misleading about suggesting that I wanted people to bid on the bags -- that was not my intention. I said that I was going to sell the bags for $30 and would sell to the first person to respond. I did mention that I would consider offers that blew me away, but I thought that was unfair after I had already stated a price that I was willing to sell the items for.

Tom Mosher was the first to respond concerning the bags. If you had interest in a particular bag (which a couple people expressed), please make an offer to him.

Jean-Philippe Labbé was the first to respond concerning the videos.

If I do not hear back from them, or if they do not want the items anymore, I will go with the next person to send a reply.

Thanks.
