General Matthis " It's fun to shoot..."

Post by DoctorJay »

What is your opinion about the General's speech ?

http://www.nytimes.com/2005/02/05/opini ... t.html?8br
( this is not a good source- but you will get enough information to find the original speech somewhere on the net- I only searched for it in German)

In my opinion it is strange that such a guy can get a General in the US Army ?

I never heard of such a dumb statement - strategically and humanly.

I do not like his chief too who bolstered him because he didn't find the right words.
The report described that the General is a hero of the war - such heroes are responsible to gain tons of terrorists too by speaking in such a manner.

I think it's this type of humor that has made the peace easy to achieve in Iraq.

I'm sorry, but I protested before the war, I protested during the war, and I voted against Bush. What can I say, Americans believe in Jesus Christ, and wants their leadership to be created in His ideals and represent His teachings. I don't know which verse in the Bible justifies this behavior, but if the Bible can be used to re-elect Bush as man man of God, even after his first term behavior, I have little doubt that the BIble can justify these comments too.

Praise Jesus, and God bless Amerikkka.

He may as well say the old line "Join the Marine Corp. Travel the world and meet strange and exotic people... and then shoot them." "The Marine Corp. It's not a job, it's a holliday."

It's not a good message concidering that Sniper the USA had a few years back, driving around and shooting people from the back of a van. Is that the sort of practice he'd encourage to 'clean up the streets' of the US?

Wanker.
