Sweat

Post by Juice »

Ever since I got back into footbag again I've been sweating a lot. Even though its summer it's gotten pretty bad. After each session im dripping with sweat and I dont know if its normal or not. Before when I use to play it wasnt this bad.

Its not just with shredding, when im sitting on the bus on the way to school my back starts becoming sweaty. It's also really embarrasing, sometimes i have huge sweat marks in the back of my tshirt. I use anti-perspirant deodrant but it doesnt really reduce how much i sweat (by the way i dont stink either).

This week we've been practicing dancing for the Prom. We have to dance with girls and its hot in the place we dance in. And i sweat, i sweat a lot and it is very embarrasing.

So does anyone have any tips or advice on what i should do about this?

that sucks :(

So anti perspirant does nothing for you? It seems to do be an anti anti perspirant for me also. Hmmmmmm........ Maybe just wear a shitload of undershirts. IT will make you more hot, but maybe the sweat wont get so far.

I got your same problem buddy. It is even more embarassing because I am a girl. I used to never sweat, not even when I worked out like crazy. Then I moved to Georgia, and the humidity or something caused me to sweat a lot. Like, I would just sit in class and I'd end up with pit sweat. I hate it. Good thing is that I don't smell bad at all. In the summer, when I shred, I come back soaked in my sweat. I don't care then, though. Right now, in the winter, I still sweat when I workout but not nearly as much. I practically quit playing around in school cuz I would end up with a wet back like you. Anyways, I switched so many deodorants/anti-persirants, and none really solved anything. I do know that gel ones are worse than solid, but solid white gets everywhere, so either way sucks. I guess we gotta live with it. Oh. I was advised to put baby powder on after putting deodorant on and it seemed to absorb some wetness.

I don't know how old you are but perhaps this is all part of puberty.

I sweat like a goddam beast when I shred, I am always totally soaked and dripping everywhere.

I cannot hold a candle to Nasty Nates sweat though. When you shred with him you get wet. 8O

I have a similar problem. I seem to overheat very fast. In the summer I used to have problems @ outdoor jams. Now in the winter i'm having problems playing in my shred studio that is directly adjescent to the furnace. It's annoying because I find it hard to concentrate on footbag with sweat dripping down my head (into my eyes! 8O ). Sweatbands seem to work ok for me.

inside, for me and it's winter and before i sleep, I kick. Then, when my head touches my pillow, I'm fucking soaked and i'm a lazy douche so i don't shower before I go to sleep but after I go to sleep.........damn summer's going to be worse....then again, it COULD be just the humidity.

I'm a sweat machine, too. Lots of players are. I've gotten sprinkler head flying off Kenny Schultz plenty of times. it's an annoying, but integral part of the game. at least it helps us keep our nice, active bodies. It only really bothers me when it's getting in my eyes a lot, or if I don't have something dry to change into after a session, and I just have to sit in my grossness. I, unlike Chrissy, can get a little stank... I saw flies gathering 2 funtastiks ago ;)

so yeah, bring a change of clothes and a plastic bag for your smelly gear, freestylers.
