Classic Laver finding

http://www.frontlineshop.com, a german online store has the
original vintage Rod Laver model from the 70's, in green (!).

Direct link didn't work for me, but at the top right there's a field that says
"Artikel suchen" - enter 'Rod Laver' there.

Couldn't hurt to chop it up. If it's pliable enough, the rounding might not matter too much. Certainly would be better than that leather business.

if I was your friend, I'd either pull open the toe and leave the leather as it is and just accept that they're gonna be kind of an inferior shred shoe, or I'd leave those shoes as they are and get a proper set of mesh lavers. I think you'll probably just ruin those shoes trying to cut them up for freestyle.

The inside looks quite crappy...this is completely other shoe model than the Rod Laver footbaggers use. Name isn't everything.

Apparently not

Leaving the toe and shoe goe might help, but yeah...I think the fire mod might be most appropriate.

To make the toe sticky you could always apply a layer of green facile with glue. I may try that on some old lavers and see if it helps (I need all the help I can get)
