South Side Freestyle Day.

FREE TO ALL!!!

Sunday june 4th. 1pm-8pm

Kasey Meadow Recreation Center
8047 W. 91st Pl, Hickory Hills IL 60457

Featuring: Freestyle Footbag by Chicago’s top players, Frisbee/ultimate, Skate Park (no bikes allowed), cash prize bean bag toss tournament, Baseketball, Free hot dogs for all (feel free to bring your own food also), Water and bathrooms on site. Possibly live music (still looking into that )

Count me in. Perhaps we can fool Reile into thinking this is some kind out of town event. That's the only way he'll go to something local.

well you wouldnt be lying it is out of his town.

I kicked with riele once like a month ago at lane tech. He was shreding in heavy big ass dress shoes and he was hitting drifters and torques.

Hey if any of you guys have small bbq grills you could bring let me know. and zeke you got a boombox right if you do that would be cool to have also. Oh i hope you can have like 10-15 sandbags you can sell for the event i know a bunch of my freinds will want them and of course some random people will want a few too im sure

So far freestylers planning on coming out: myself, josh elmer, zeke , kamil, reid strellner,

The hopefulls: Riele, tom, tim, jon negella.

The long shots: it would be awesome to see the wisconsin duo will rockey and eric siegel but considering the drive i wouldnt blame them for not coming, maybe the promise of free hot dogs will be weighing factor of coming or not

Any suggestions for flyers and promotion? I was thinking that the freestyle footbag could be kind of a small part of the flyer that way maybe freinds of freinds will come for the skating bbq bean bag toss tourny and become more interested in learning about freestyle once seeing all the crazy wild tricks.

Awwwwwwww, it just won't be as fun then.

I'm sure we can bring a grill and radio. I can also bring:
-2 big water coolers w/ ice
-few folding chairs
-cd's
-misc. cooking supplies, tell me what you need and I can get 'em
-diposable plates, utensiles, cups
-garbage bags

If I think of more I'll post them.

Eric doessn't live out in Wisconsin, he lives in Urbana-Champain.

But I would expect both of them to come out since Reid is coming. They should be done with school by then and back in Highland Park.

Yeah im hoping to have a good amount of freestylers. hopefully enough to break into 2 small circles leaving room for some interested newbs to join the fun.

If everything goes to plan this should be a successful day of promoting the sport. hopefully leading to someone buying there first pair of lavers

Last year Scott held an event on that same weekend, which actually turned out to be pretty fun. Does this mean he's not doing a summer event again this year on that weekend?

Yeah. Zeke just told me about this. You can definitely count me in.

Our friend Mike Matson should probably come too, and maybe even this kid Phil that I met down at school.

And on a side note: It's weak that Reid and Will are leavin' for the summer. That's right, you two heard me. WEAK!
