Hello, I was wondering if someone could either give me the money to purchase facile or purchase it for me...or something along those lines of getting facile to me...If you do i will gladly make you a bag and send it back to you...along with paying for the facile....

good luck on that, why dont you just get it off line? why are people so wiged out about geting stuff on line? if your gonna pay for it an every thing i dont understand why u cant just get it your self. its not that hard.

it takes at least 20 bags to get good enough to sell. it isnt just like some artform you can pick up in a night. i dont think many people will buy you fabric, but i guess its worth a shot.

yeah dude, it will take a few months of hardcore stitching to get anywhere close to something you can sell.

I am juuuuuust getting to the point where people will pay me for my bags and it took a fair amount of work.

You should start out making piles of 4-panels then work your way up.

I already stitch up a footbag out of tshirts my second one i perfected it =) I just dont know what to use for filler, currently i am just using aquarium rocks...

it takes more than i few days to start selling them , it takes month to get it perfected to when you can make a bag pefect each time and there might be faults and stuff in the begninning

Exactly thats why whoever sponsors me gets my first perfect bag and then when i sell em i get to pay them back

Aquarium rocks are bad fillers. Then paint they put on them will rub off and eat your bag from the inside out. Most stichers use a combo of glass beads, plastic beads, and BB pellets coated with something (IE copper or sliver) Personally, I use a mix of copper BB, very very small rocks, and plastic pellets.

I have been trying to stich off and on for about 6 months and I have yet to come up with a bag thats even remotely sellable. Maybe I don't have the sticher gene like Mosher seems to have (He got really good - fast.) but thats just my experience. It requires alot of hard work like Tom said and did.

My advice is try to buy so Crush Panne at a farbic store and work with that. You can make a 32 with that to perfect your stiching.

I took way less than 20 bags - hmm. My bags still aren't perfect yet though, actually I doubt a "perfect" bag exists.

This is getting a little off topic but I've heard aquarium rocks are really good - that's what Felix uses and his bags are regarded by many people as some of the best bags in the world...

To clarify on aquarium rocks, since of course, I am a source:

There is more than one type of aquarium rocks. One type is white (pick any color) and chalky, with rough edges. this type sucks and I have had first hand experience with using these as filler. I quickly stopped after only 1 bag becaus they felt like sh-t and I thought they were destroying my bag from the inside. Another type of aquarium rock is polished and may come in shades of blue. They aren't too big, nor are they too small. They seem to be okay-good for filler. This is the kind that Felix uses I believe. They wont rip footbags from the inside.

I dont personally like any type of aquarium rocks, but some stitchers swear by them so do whatever you like.
