Supersuede vs. Facile question

Post by Faco »

Ok...I am not a newbie and please do not explain basic stuff to me
I have a question:
What is the difference between supersuede and facile bags? I don't know Slovenian translation for these words so I have no idea what are good/bad sides of each material.

Can someone explain the difference?

I don't know what supersuede is but I can tell you how to recognize the 'good' side of facile (aka ultrasuede light).

The good side feels softer and slightly fluffy/fuzzier.
The bad side is tighter and rougher and gets pilled really easy.

The good side is also sorta two-toned due to the fuzzierness of it and the way the fibers can flop over.

Well, maybe "super" doesn't exist...like I said these names are confusing me.
What is ultrasuede then?

So all of today's bags are facile because facile is the best material? I know facile...it's very soft and "hairy". But is facile also thinner and easier to brake?

I know.
What you call "supersuede" is Ultrasuede. "Facile" is Ultrasuede light, a thinner, more pliable, and less heavier version of the same type of synthetic fabric.

Footbags today are made of ultrasuede LIGHT because the material is thin and very strong, as opposed to regular ultrasuede which is strong, but way too thick for footbags.

I hope that answered your questions.
