Emil's Footblog

Post by limester816 »

I finally got the motivation to make a footblog amidst the Mt. Olympus of footbag, so don't larf.

Anyways Im almost 15 (turning 15 in a week), and I've been hackin it for a couple of months, and I couldn't hit more than 3 kicks when I started. But now I'm steadily progressing, Im not totally even on both sides, but I can get all the stalls and stuff. My clippers are alright, I actually just started getting them, and boy do they make the whole game a lot funner!

So maybe this will help my game, the Albuquerque footbag scene is almost non-existent, so Modified is my ciudad!

A lil about myself: I've been playing the guitar for 5 years, jazz guitar in particular, and music is my other persona basically. I'm into a lot of stuff, Hip-Hop, Metal, Reggae, Rock, whatever. Thats it, I'll try and post in here whenever possible, and not just leave a sentence :?

Ill end with a joke (WARNING: I bit.. weird):

Two missionaries were traveling through the jungle in search of converts to their religion when they were set upon by a band of native warriors.
They were taken back to the village and put before the Chief.
The Chief, angry at the missionaries, gives them the choice of DEATH or BUNGA - BUNGA.
The younger missionary, not wanting to die, decides he will choose BUNGA - BUNGA.
He is taken to the center of the village and bent over a large barrel, after which all of the warriors take turns Sodomizing him.
After the warriors were satisfied with him, he was let go.
Mean while the older missionary was brought before the Chief.
"DEATH or BUNGA - BUNGA" bellowed the Chief, "What will it be?"
After seeing what happened to his younger companion, he said, " You savages can screw yourselves. I will take DEATH!!!"
"Fine" says the Chief. "It will be DEATH by BUNGA - BUNGA..

I'll read this one a lot for sure. I'm the other 50% of the Alb crew (that I know of), muahahah. Hopefully we will get to kick sometime soon, and get the Alb crew bigger hopefully. It is hard for me to kick alone, that is what happened to me, and ended up stupidly quiting with in a few months. But enough about me, lets read some progress from you pretty soon.

Holla!

Hey thanks guys, means a lot to me

Well unlike most of you, I don't really play in "sessions", I like to just take a bag and practice 10 minutes at a time, in between posts at forums or something.

But as far as the game is going, my clipper's are alright, I haven't been able to string anything together with it, so I just drill it. My pixie's are just meh, like I can set them up right, but I can never catch them, I think my timing is wrong for bringing up my support leg to catch them. Suggestions would be awesome :)

Hmm.. How do you people make such long posts in your blogs...

Today was pretty dull, I woke up at like 11, and had a coke for breakfast. Then I shredded for a little bit, my clippers are really coming along, and since I currently hack in Birkenstocks, they should get better after my lavers come in. I don't really know what else to work on, I really really suck at dexing anything, I guess I should work on that...

Watched The Way Of The Dragon, a cool Bruce Lee movie, he's my hero. Downloadin all the Batman prequels so I can get ready for the new one on Friday.

Thats today I guess, I hope somebody reads my blog :?

Phew, just got my lavers! They're a little big, but I'm sure after a new insole it will get more snug.

But damn, modding them is a chore! Just removing the insole is tough work...

I've been modding my lavers, took the sole out (took a lot of work), and soaked them in hot water for half a hour. Hopefully it will be easier to take out the canvas.. and I hope I dont screw up since this is the first time I've tried modding anything.

My hack game is improving I think, I hit 3 atw's in a row today! My right side clipper is pretty now actually, but my left side is pretty shitty... I think I'll try doing some new moves, mirages and pixies probably.

And I got my grades, and hey! they weren't bad at all, 4 A's, 2 B+'s, and a B. Considering how hard my school is, I'm pretty happy with myself. My parents were awfully pleased too, so one of my summer kinks is over. The other kink was my physical, which I had today- im glad it's over, my worst fear in life is to pop a hard-on during a physical, and it didn't happen today! haha...

My summer has finally begun 8) :footbag:

Well I finished modding my lavers, but damn, they aren't too stylish, I guess this will be a strictly-hack kind of deal.

But I dont know, I cant clipper as well as my birkenstocks, I really have to keep my feet more flat. And the insole I got is so thick I can really see it through the mesh! But I laced em good I think, did it my own way and the toe box is really huge.

So that was today, I did a lot of shreddin just now but I got really tired, I played a lot of tennis today...

So anyways, peace out.

If you find that the insole sticks out to the side and fucks up your clipper area then you should trim some away from the arch area.

They will break in and get better in time. Crisp lavers suuuuck!

Oh yeah and I forgot, thank mosher for my sweet toe box, he helped me cut out the canvas under the toe (kinda tricky).

I'll probably cut off the arch in my insole.. it's kind of ridiculous actually.

Yea, it wasn't too tricky, although cutting the toe canvas I cut a big slit in the mesh  Had to get my bro to fix it since he's taking sewing class (wtf?)

So I've been using them a bit, I mean like, they aren't that much better than my birks, cause they arent like a flat polyhedron or something. I'll get used to them I think...

In other news, Saturday's my birthday, so I guess I'll get something for my birthday, I dont really want anything... But I get to see a jazz guitar festival, with my guitar teacher in it, so it'll be a sick concert for sure.

I burnt a copy of just a bunch of sick hack videos for my friend, I think that would also be a rad idea for when some of you guys hand out flyers to people- to give them a copy of hack videos.

Alright, well enough jibber jabber, see yall later.

It's birthday-eve for lime! It's weird though, im not that excited about my birthday... maybe its the fact that my life will be just as dull afterwards, or the fact that I still wont be that confident with girls, hmm...

I shredded just a lil today, mostly took a break since I've been playin loads of tennis lately. Been playin loads of guitar too, I'm actually in the market for a new guitar actually, preferably an electric hollow-body... But that's a different tangent of life...

Well thats today I guess, I downloaded all of the Batman movies already made, so I've been watching those (george clooney sucks as bruce wayne, but val kilmer is oddly enchanting, and michael keaton>all).

Peace yall :?

Well, I can safely say that I had the best damn birthday ever.

So it started this mornin, I dunno, not to uppity start, I got a cool giant guitar encyclopedia type thing (one of the only good ones I've read), and some cash from my relatives.

Then my mom got me a birthday lunch (pizza...), and I saw Batman Begins; great movie, great acting, I liked it a lot. 7 dollars not wasted.

And here's the best part: so I went to this jazz guitar festival, with I dunno, like 500 or so people, and my guitar teacher, who was playin (fabulously I might add.. im tempted to upload a song for yall to here) made a whole segway for me! he was like "And I have a very special announcement to make, my very favorite friend is turnin 15 today, mr. emil tsao right here"
A lot of my friends were in the crowd, and it gave me instant cred... Im so happy, nothin can top that in my book.

And if you were wondering who was playin, it was Dime Sante, Lewis Winn (my guitar virtuoso teacher), and the eclectic Joshua Breakstone. Great jazz concert, im so motivated now to play [guitar].

Thanks for listenin 8)
