David's Account of Ashley Danowski's Visit
The following tracks Ashley Danowski's return to her home town to play footbag and chill with her friend David Clavens. Summaries of the days she was here + pictures are included, and i thought it would be a better idea to put them on a site rather then some blog post.
Day 1: July 1st, 2005: Today I woke up and went and picked up Ashley. her plane was supposed to come in at 1:15 but was delayed 15 minutes. at 1:30 she came down the escalator, black lavers on her feet. She had colored them, they look really phat. Anyway, we got in the car with my sister and drove back to my place. She unpacked a little and gave me a sick flipsider shirt which can be seen in many of the pictures.
We proceeded to go up to the local strip mall and eat subway. we got a good discount cuz my friend works there.(1.47 for 2 6inch subs!) We then waited in the car for my mom, and went back. Oh, I bought some energy drink called monster and my stomach felt wack. Ashley thinks its stupid. I really would like to know shredder's opinions on these types of drinks.
Anyway we came back and shredded for about an hour. Ashley was pretty off, but she did manage to get blurry whirl into a string, and pdx. whirl bsos with ease. Then we went to bed.
Day 2 : July 2nd, 2005 : We awoke around 12 I believe and proceeded to eat breakfast, hit up modified, and get in our shred gear. backpacks ready, we proceeded to the college nearby to shred. We went to our old spot which is like a covered patio type thing and we played. no music, but it was still phat. both of us busted well. because I am writing this 2 days later I don't remember anything phat except a few highlights. one was bedwetter bsos + my first gyro egg midstring. another happened when Ashley was taking a break. I wanted to hit 10 fearless, because I had hit 9. so I was standing there and I thought up a 10 that I think I could hit. it was jani>matador>bw>blurry drift>bw>blurriest>ps whirl>spinning whirl>ps whirl>mobius. I ended up hitting the first 9 contacts first try followed by a scream as the mobius rolled off my foot. Probably about 20 minutes later of repeated trying I hit matador>fog>phoenix>matador>blurry whirl>blurry whirl>blurriest>ps whirl>spinning whirl>ps whirl. 10 FEARLESS!
Ashley managed good spinning strings and lines with like pdx whirls midstring so she was satisfied with her shred. After that we came home and ate. Then we went bowling with a few other people. After bowling we went to Taco Bell and then came home. We played a little bit more but we were both too tired to do anything crazy. Ash skooled drifters and I just went for longer length. Day 3: July 3rd 2005: Today we woke up at like, 11:00ish. We ate, cleaned my room, and played halo. Then at 2 Jon Schneider himself came to shred with us from new jersey. We went to Wal-Mart to buy batteries for the stereo and then walked to the college where we played the day before. Everyone was playing pretty well, here are highlights in a more readable form:

lol whatever its hard to remember. anyway we came home said goodbye to Jon and ate some dinner. we then just hanged out, got some ice cream, watched champions league. just normal stuff. the next day would be forth of July! Here are pics of jon, dave, and ash shredding at the college.
