Help on 32 panel template

Post by Lazytowner »

Okay, most of these pro stitchers shove out these bags that have triangular hexagons, how is that made? I always end up with a regular proportional hexagon shape. I use the templates on footbag.org, despite the bad reps I've heard about it. Is there a certain way its sewed to get that triangular hexagon? Or is it the shape its cut out in? I don't believe this specific anecdote has ever been posted on this forum - NEED HELP PLEASE! 8O

Best thing I would say to do is try to find a old GOOD bag, and take it apart and see the pattern...What I did with my bags is mod the juice facile pattern :)

Does the quality of the picture really matter as long as the concept of instruction (panel construction) is passed along to the viewer?

Sheesh, why does it matter if you can draw a better triangle with cutoff corners?

Although, I suppose if you were to draw a better one and put together a new 32 panel footbag tutorial that would be good for the community. So if you'd like to work on that you could. I'm just wondering why it matters how straight Tom's lines are or how sharp the contrast is in his text.

WHOA NOW COWBOYS!

Mosher didnt draw that in paint, I DID. He just showed me the pattern when he taught me how to stitch.

Im just glad I can spread the knowledge. Even if my paint drawings arent 100% up to silly modified's standards.

Also, that's a good idea there, I should make a tutorial on how to make those hexagons triangular, I did it just now. I'll work on a vid later.

I'll put it up on my .org profile in a few days, heck, maybe even tomorrow if
I put in enough dedication!
