I thought I would share with Modified how I fix a bag with holes in it
Some people would stitch up the whole, other might try shoegoo, I prefer to use SteriStrips.
Steri-Strips

A 3M steristrip is a flexible skin closure strip made of a soft, non-woven elastic backing coated with a pressure-sensitive, hypoallergenic adhesive.
Its like a thin strip of very sticky material with strong threads running throughout it. Anyways back to fixing the bag ...

This is my abshire mini. The sweetest bag I have ever owned. I got it in the fall of 2003. It took over a year to break in properly but once it did it was the nicest bag I have ever played with. It however has seen better days and this past weekend at the Toronto session it got a few holes in it.
The first step is to clean the bag and let it dry. I wouldnt want to apply the strip to a dirty or wet bag. I used baby shampoo to clean the bag and let it air dry. Once that is done a whole like this:

is fixed with a small square of a steristrip like this:

This picture:
shoes a new steristrip next to an old hole that was patched up.Steristrips are relatively easy to get. A pack of steristrips, which contains two sheets, is enough to fix countless bags and costs around $6 dollars canadian (at least it did at my local grocery store pharmacy).
What makes steristrips so great is that they are super sticky, super strong, super flexible, super thin, and can be cut to any shape or size. It's really like applying a thin layer of skin to the bag. In my humble opinion I believe it is the best solution for fixing holes in bags that I have seen.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks,
