ok i got a few questions and i really dont think there is a logical order to present them in so ill just go as they come to mind here

first off, ive got my insides down mostly perfect, i say mostly cause i just changed shoes and lacing which kinda throws me off a little right now, and can get clipper kick a good 75% of the time but it seems no matter how well i time it i cant do the clipper stall, any sort of tips for getting the clipper stall would be wonderful.

second is on the matter of walkovers & hopovers, walkover i can do with easy but i cant seem to make it smooth, no matter how hard i drill it, it seems like its always in steps insted of one move, is this just a matter of practice or am i going about it wrong? then there is hopovers... WTF!? it is a move that would seem to be pretty basic but i cant do it. am i missing something fundimental or is it just again a matter of practice?

lastly, wraps... i start with simple inside delay and move it around my support leg but like EVERYTIME as i get just past the back of my leg my toe tips and the bag rolls off, how do i keep my toe from droping? again just practice?

thanks for any advice people, oh and if this belongs the the trick forum sorry but it all seems pretty n00b to me

the main things you want to work on for all of those moves, are your crank(ankle flexibility), quad strength, and just practicing more fo the same.

Don't worry too much about hop-overs, but it helps a lot to get your leg over your other leg as quickly and cleanly as possible. I couldn't do a hop over for a long time.

with wrap arounds its just the same. work on ankle flexibity to keep your foot flat, and quad strength, to give your foot more room and time to move around your leg.

I have a three step program to learn clipper stalls.

1) Position your self near a wall so that you can push against the wall to help you keep balanced.
2) Drop the bag and try to catch it in a clipper, set the bag, and catch it in the clipper position again
3) pick up the bag and try again.

For hopover, my advice is when you're dexing the bag as you hop over the inside, bring your delaying foot down as you hop over the bag (kinda like how you bring your foot/body down with the bag when catching a clipper). This will probably help to learn eclipse in the future, but I haven't hit that move yet. Hopefully Reiley Stark can teach me how when he's done playing with himself in the woods.
