Post by ChrisDok77 » 16 Aug 2010 16:58

iight so i got myself some red twills for 35$, and im lookin for a small mod just to start off with, for twills would the lacing mod at world footbag be a good starting mod? and would they work well on twills? thanks (http://worldfootbag.com/shoelacing/shoelacing.html).

You can do the freestyle lacing & also cut the threads that hold the row of eyelets to the toe without worrying about tearing or damaging the twill.

If you get more adventurous, it is possible to do additional mods. I've seen Matt Cross play in twill lavers with the outside material cut off. I played in traditionally modded twill lavers (removing the inside panel) for a little over a year I guess. They were really broken in before I attempted the mod, and the inner canvas & outer twill were already separated, so I didn't have any problems with tearing the twill or cutting into it. Not sure how easy it would be to recreate that state before modding, though.
