the calm and relaxed dig after
having your back to the net waiting for the set to get in range
absolutely murdering a side axe
sweep serving when the the defense expects a dink
dinking the serve and their funny attempts to play it
that moment when time slows down, the bag becomes huge and you know you've got the perfect set
then you swing with all your might for a monumentally colossal whiff!

-Coloring took a couple hours because I kept re-doing certain parts over and over

The weather has been really bad this winter. I've still managed to go out and take photos and even started sketching again to help relieve the winter blues. Far more productive then the usual video games, though I'm sure the gaming world has more than enough players to hold off evil. Still, I ache to go out and play footbag. The last few sessions were pretty light and they're just not cutting it. It's better than nothing though.

I just saw Elliott's club blog where they had pics of indoor net sessions in a gym with a boxing ring and punching bags! I thought I just saw heaven on earth.

I'm off the next two days.

BTW, I really love the way the left shoe came out in my last illustration.

Other than it apparently being a picture of a guy about to mount the viewer... or just getting done mounting... or maybe a flying crotch tackle...

Is the pec on the figure's left slightly too wide? Or should the lats on the figure's right be tucked a little more "behind" the abs?

But those are really minor, it looked fine to me until you said something's wrong with it. Then I went a-hunting.

heads to big. Lat behind abs more. our left peck seems weird. Arms need some work. With that said. Zeke you are far superior at generating to scale (and any other) images than myself, so do not take what I say heavily. Those are the things that seem out of place to me.

I really want to go to the Memphis net event in April, it's called "The Belt". Apparently the hosts have bought a boxing style title belt as their trophy! CLCK hopes to drive down there & represent with at least 2 teams. I'd love to partner up with Tommy just because I think we work well together. If it works out, it will be my first ever comp out of Illinois. I'm lactating just thinking about it!
