Are you absolutely sure you don't want to go halves on the "Lust and Love Package"?C-Fan wrote:That Jupiter hotel sounds pretty sweet. I will likely do one of their package deals. The distillery one sounds pretty cool.
We'll even throw in a bucket of 4 12oz bottles of Miller High Life, the Champagne of Beer, to help create the mood.

I agree this hotel looks very cool though. My one reservation is that the Jupiter does not have a hot tub or swimming pool (I just called and asked to make sure). Aesthetics are great and all, but the hot tub in our guest hotel last year sure did feel relieving at the end of each day. The nightlife here looks really good though. I'm looking at the normal "DEUCE" room -- two queen beds on the bar patio side of the premises. Split between four people that would not be too harsh on the wallet. I don't know if anyone will have the interest/physical capacity to shred at the hotel, but if there is indeed some space to play it would be a seriously good looking backdrop for filming (based on the few pictures I can see).
The "Best Deal" package allows us to save 15% as long we book our rooms 21 days in advance. Simple and good. Their "The Magic is in the Hole" deal might work out to be about as good of a bargain for anyone driving to Portland (it includes free parking) and a penchant for bacon doughnuts. But I wonder if something even better could be worked out.
I think it'd make more sense if we went in on the "Keep Portland Queer" package.rjadamson wrote:Are you absolutely sure you don't want to go halves on the "Lust and Love Package"?C-Fan wrote:That Jupiter hotel sounds pretty sweet. Too bad about the lack of hottub, but I still think I'm doing this hotel. Sounds close enough to the other hotel that it shouldn't be hard to set up a party.
Depending on how my money situation works out I would like to fly to the US Open this year with plenty of bags for sale. I was thinking about going to Worlds this year, but money could get tight for me in the summer and the US Open is the next best thing.
Decisions, decisions.

im still looking at prices on plane tickets......I will probably know whether or not im coming in the next couple weeks....I may try to street perform with footbag or my saxophone to earn some money towards it.....or someone even suggested that I make a video with some big links and tricks and make a 5 dollar down load to help raise money.....
either way...I really want to go and hang with everybody....I would also like to compete.

I didn't see Boychuk, Moir, Clavens or Gatesman on that list. It'd be a shame if at least one of them didn't come. The current list has a lot of North Am's strongest players, but the more the better. Any word from any of them?
