No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

Hey guys, I really want to come to this event.
Is it possible to just crash with someone once I get there?
I'm getting addicted to jams and I can't wait to go to the next one.
Although I might not know anyone since this is sort of an east coast jam, and I have only been to west coasts ones.

Speaking of which, SJFF is in november, and it's not posted yet but I'm gonna bug justin dale about it. I hope to see you guys there too!!

Don't worry, it's a midwest event not an east coast event. 8) Meeting new people half the fun of going to an event. I hope you can make this one as it's the best event of the year (in my opinion)(which is obviously the correct opinion ;-)).

If you are arriving a day before the event or leaving after the last day of the event, then you'll need crash space at someone's house. During the event everyone stays at the host hotel since it's connected to the event site. That way it's like 24 hours of footbag fun instead of just the open hours of the event. You should ask who has open space in their hotel room as the event gets a little closer. The people attending this event get a discounted room rate, and if you stay in a room with more people it's obviously going to be even cheaper.

I am confirming myself to the event. I will be getting ther at least a day early. I am also planning on staying for new years(where the party at?).

Im trying to get some tickets to the hockey game on wrigley field on New years day. But they are looking awfully expensive.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there!!

Thanks to Emily we've got the attendees list started up (check the first post).
Where you at Northeast and Southeast?

Yeeah ZAch. I'm down for that perhaps. They're going to freeze over wrigley, and I want to see it, but not if it's really expensive. We'll see.

I should have some limited crash space available for people arriving early or leaving a little late. PM me if you're interested

I'll just go ahead and confirm, this event is not to be missed.

I'll do my best to bring a bunch of keen Canadians and maybe a Matt Cross! 8)

Hey Tom,

I was planning on driving too. Perhaps is there enough Canadians to fill two automobles?

I have been in verbal contact with the event organizers, and it is looking good for some casual, net play, and possible demo's. I will be there for sure!!!!

It would be nice if someone could bring something to put on the ground to make a border so the net bags don't roll far away every time the bag hits the floor. Even something like old towels on the ground just around the net area, you know? Just a thought.

Mike Hansen told me about kayak.com which I used to find my tickets. Not only does it check the airline websites, but also other search engines which have different prices, such as orbitz.com and cheaptickets.com. Anyone looking to buy tickets should try kayak.com (if possible, meaning that I don't know if it's good for flights from/to Canada).

Have fun guys I can't make it out this year because I'll be with family in Phoenix, Austin, and New Orleans. I will have to wait until next year to tattoo you new CIC net players! :D
