Session with Ronnie, Tom and Nathan yesterday. Ronnie and I hooked up on the bus and warmed up quite a bit before Tom and Nathan showed up. At first we were worried that a major Cheerleading comp was happening. There were a bunch of girls in matching outfits walking around and the Pier was busier than usual. Thankfully it turned out to be some dance competition in the ballroom all the way at the end of the Pier. It was just light but steady foot traffic upstairs instead of the hordes of teams camping out and practicing their routines.
Warming up was fine but when I started to set up the 2S court I was feeling that same pain in my ankle I had 2 weeks prior. Ronnie beat me the first 2 games before I could finally adjust to the discomfort. I won the next 6 we played against, most of them were massacres. Tom and I split each won a game against each other. Nathan seemed to be having a bad session and just watched squares after shredding. Tony and Dean were juggling near by and it's always fun to watch them do their thing. They seem to enjoy our company as much as we enjoy theirs. It's also interesting how they know former footbaggers that now juggle like Jim Pomey, Paul Mestas, Josh Casey & BFDM.
I managed to take a few good photos of the shred and some scenic shots outside of the broken ice in the lake. 2S photos tend to look very dull and awkward since it's
just players kicking. Ronnie took a few shots with my camera too. I had to go through quite a few carpet and cliff bar photos taken in burst mode

Wish I had a shot of His Purple Majesty/Lego James Brown. Or the guy with the scary black marks on his face <shudders>.
Afterwards we all head down to LaRAZA for the mandatory post-session chillaxing. Ronnie asks some.. uhhh... interesting questions. I fear he has some deep & scary issues. We got some frozen burgers from Target and pigged out while watching the Simpsons, Family Guy and relentlessly bitching out some crappy shows we had recorded on the DVR. Gooooooooooood times
