There won't be a New Year's Jam! It's over. Done-zo. ~fin~ No more sports fest. 11 years. Hope you had fun while it lasted. It's ok to be sad and have nothing to look forward to all cold winter.

Well that's what *almost* happened. Then CIC decided to make NYJ happen!
So dry your eyes and prepare for an actual Chicago experience, and a super fun New Year celebration.

I found a primo venue in the heart of downtown, near everything we were far away from before. Museum, park with ice skating, touristy sights within walking distance, underground tunnels connecting restaurants and giving us places to explore and play footbag golf, grocery store within walking distance. Right on the river and near the lake. The best views in the city. We will be lacking in high school volleyball girls, and skateboarders almost riding into you though.

Just waiting for the contract to go through. Stay tuned.

I'm 50% on making it this year, it all depends on job prospects, either way, I really want to go

"What the hell is cic birthday jam?"

CIC has a jam every year around the time the club was created. I think this year was the 10th? Anyway this years jam was quite impressive! At least 30 people, food/drinks, freestyle, net and other activities.

Also, good work so far Tom!

Looks like the first post is updated...

Very important!

If you are staying at the hotel (and you should) then you need to call and make a reservation by November 29th to get the discounted rate!

Do not expect CIC to take care of you if you fail to get a room. I'm reserving one room so far and it's already full.
