I dont get the argument with lead, yes its poisonious but you've got to ingest it, or get it through your blood stream in some kind of way. I worked at a refinery, they melted metal to pour in molds, to each laddle we added zinc filler and lead, full face respirator's and the whole works... you got ...

pencap gather? I used the bottom of my fine point sharpie which is probably same size as pencap... i dont think i'd use that on my next bag though, maybe a AA battery or similar size, to keep the pents alittle bigger, and the bag a tad looser... Hopefully I get it right this time, as it sucks ...

Size

This last Bag I sewed was too dang small!! its smaller than a golfball, too small to even really kick, has too much bounce and just plain sucks... I used .55" pents and .70" hex's short side 25%... Thinking of trying .70" pents this time, the hex's seem fine but the pents are too little. What do you ...

Matt cross has apparently been sewing for along time now, his bags come highly recomended, and its been said you can get one of his 2 stitch's ( i believe its cheaper)... theres no difference in 2-3 stitch when kicking i've heard, just a cosmetic thing. I believe holly sales through a few venue's ...

I cant help much like most others here can, but i used to kick regularly 7-8 years ago, and we always used a sand hack from the local sports shop, 10 bucks, reliable for kicking in a circle and its still intact to this day... though it has lost most of its sand...

Good info guys, and while were on topic of knots... this is how I tie mine...
Before I begin stitching I tie 4 knots at the end of the thread, then begin sewing, when I get done with the last hex, i sew to the first hex, and then tie my knot... I do a regular knot and pull it down below the first ...

I think i just realized something... When i got done sewing a pent I'd focus on getting all the gather on all the sides of the pent the same... it took forever. But if you guys gather with a battery or pen cap, do you just pull the thread when your done stitching (before the knot) around the battery ...

My stitching has been getting better and alittle more consistant but theres a few things that are bugging me! When I get done with a flower before i tie the last knot i'll pull the hexagons from the pent just alittle and sometimes i can see the stitch!!! Its annoying, i never noticed it until my ...

I cant really vote since i've never actually had ameretta in my hands, but From the pictures the colors just seem dull... Facile's colors are just so bright and pretty, even their dark colors pop where the ameretta just doesnt... No idea how it plays either, thats why I didnt vote.
