So as you may tell from the date of my last post its been nearly a year since I played footbag or even signed into this forum. Scary really. I have now been playing footbag 'on and off' for 2 1/2 years, the pattern being 3/4 months of intense drilling and playing followed by 8 months of ...

I used to cycle alot so I'm back to doing some of that. Its alot of fun and its easy on my knees but hopefully by the end of the week i should be completely pain free!

I agree jogging can be boring. But if you set times for yourself to beat or jog with someone else it will push you alot harder and end up being way more fun.

Jogging with earphones is also a good idea as Antti said. I dont do it personally but alot of guys do and they prefer it alot!

I can testify to the jogging. For rugby we have to do a jog 3 times a week during our lunch break. One of the guys weighed 17 stone and was running the circuit in 30 mins plus. This was in september and now the guy has lost ALOT of weight is alot fitter and is now running the circuit in under 21 ...

I can see how footbag players could drink too much water (playing in a circle and chugging some down whilst others are playing) However i feel footbag is less intensive, after a long string you do stop and you'd realise if something is wrong or others around you would.

Kicking with the bag is fine. But as you begin to advance and start doing tricks you may become very fustrated with it. Both due to its large size and how hard they are to stall.

Its really poor :( . I have a vid from hackrifice and i try to mimic the way erik does it but im finding it very difficult. I'm leaving Ireland on the 30th of June and im in Aus for 10 days or so before going to NZ and Fiji. I dont have a schedule of activities yet but i should have soon.

Try and set goals with yourself. Kinda have a 'contest' with yourself everytime you shred increasing the amount of repetitions of each drill. And remember to repeat each drill helping to improve BOTH SIDES!
